I stumbled upon a 3D printed gun printout, which I believe is an air gun design. It looks fairly convincing, but I'm struggling to grasp its underlying mechanics. Specifically, how does the compressed air get released? Is the bolt mechanism merely a cosmetic feature or does it serve a functional purpose? I'd greatly appreciate any insight into this design's inner workings. Attached are the model details and a split 3D model for your review.
