Nickel Spinner

Nickel Spinner

This weighted top is easy to print, strong enough to take a bit of a beating and is calibrated for Canadian nickels (they have good mass and are not too expensive). I am going to drill a small 1/8 inch hole through the shaft so I can use a pull-cord with my wooden top spinner handle and really get this spinning! Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1 Infill: 100% Notes: You'll need to use a piece of 1/4 inch dowel for the shaft. I added slots to the nickel holders to make it easier to get the coins in and out. My kids wanted to experiment with different weights at each tip - this made that easier. The first version (shown in the images) did not have these slots.
