Nicotine ( Formula : C10H14N2; CAS : 54-11-5; systematic name : (S)-3-[1-Methylpyrrolidin-2-yl]pyridine) is a highly toxic alkaloid stimulant found in the nightshade family of plants. It is highly addictive, inducing both behavioral stimulation and anxiety and is one of the most commonly abused drugs. At low concentrations nicotine itself poses few health risks and nicotine replacement products used for quitting smoking pose less of a cancer risk than smoking. However, use use during pregnancy may increase the child's risk of diabetes, hypertension, respiratory dysfunction, and infertility. This molecule is provided in three standard representations and includes a simulated electrostatic (van der Waals) surface. The whole model is provided as a C4D scene, all objects are editable primitives or metaball objects. The .fbx, .stl and .obj files are exported from C4D R20 and are provided as is.
