Nidhoggr the Dragon Bust

Nidhoggr the Dragon Bust

My first real big 3d printing project. This is the starts of a dragon's head wall trophy. Here is the head of Níðhöggr (Nidhogger or Nidhogg - meaning Malice Striker) the wyrm. The dragon that, according to norse mythology, gnaws at a roots of the world tree of Yggdrasil. So far my prints are at one quarter size with full support materials. I'm still just getting the basic shape for the head, jaw and neck though. I'll add scale details, more horns (and horn detail) after this phase. I want to have version 1 done and displayed as the the center piece to my Halloween spook ally this year. Later I hope to make movable eyes, jaw, and neck mechanics for version 2.
