Nightborne Warmage

I was immediately entranced by the beautiful and magical visual aesthetic of the Nightfallen and Nightborne the moment I saw them in Suramar. As much as I loved them, I also noticed that most of the character designs were quite lightly-armored or overtly ritualistic. I wanted to explore what a heavier-clad Nightborne warrior might look like, so I set off to create one! I created this character bust in the Brushforge Leyla character class/mentorship with Dusty Nolting. I designed, modeled, and textured the character with weekly critique from Dusty. Huge thanks to him! I learned a lot about designing characters and clothing for a fantasy culture, as well as some modeling and hand-painted texturing techniques for the World of Warcraft style!
