A night stand lamp and box. A version of this is soon to be a lamp and case for a chess set in design, where the lamp will be an ~8x scale model of the pawn. The electronics are from adafruit.com; based on http://www.adafruit.com/products/678 Video of the lamp colors being controlled with the remote:http://youtu.be/-3IqRemyeCU Instructions Print the top at higher temperatures to increase opacity. It's much easier to wind the LEDs around the inner neck outside of the top and then fastening, rather than printing the two together. The inner neck, which the LED strip is wound around, should be fastened with velcro, not glue. This makes it possible to disassemble when the LEDs need replacing.
