Replacement battery Pack: to be glued together, the battery’s can be mounted the wrong way! Short circuit is possible when not mounted with care! Short circuit is a real possibility when choosing the wrong conductor lengths! Damage to the toy is to be expected when the polarity is reversed, fire is possible. Only give this to your children when glued shut and on your own risk and after testing. I used 316 stainless steel welding rod 1 mm for the springs which connect the battery’s in series. For the return wire to the negative pole I used a solid copper wire 1 mm. For the positive pole loop around wire and the bridge to the last negative pole, I used a solid copper wire 1.35mm (1.5mm²). these wires need to be filed flat so the battery’s fit. The holes need to be drilled out to the required dimensions. Some soldering is required. There is improvement needed to the design: a fillet around the whole battery pack (it won’t fit correctly as is). There is also a problem where the wire’s loop around the battery pack. If my description is not clear to you: STAY AWAY from this.
