TIP: Print the "Lens Front Part Outside.stl" part at 100.5% to 101%, to compensate for shrinkage. Otherwise your fit might be too tight! Reversing your lenses is a really good way to get started with Macro Photography. This is a lens adaptor that can be printed at home! With the 18-55mm kit lens, I can achieve a 2x - 5x magnification, which is almost microscope level, though the lens optics are really not that great to resolve the finer scales =/ I made it in two parts: A male Nikon-F mount for the camera side and a female tube that mounts in the outer notch on the Nikon kit lenses. This is NOT a 52mm adaptor! I found the 52mm thread is way too fine to print, so I came up with this solution that mounts on the outer part of the tube, which has larger features to grab onto. The two parts mount together with M2x20 screws (#2 for yankees). The mount also acts as an extension tube, increasing the magnification power of your lens. The issue is, obviously, that you lose a lot of depth of field and light. I supplied the .ipt source files if you want to modify them. Me assembling the mount: https://youtu.be/LjOq3WBR6MM
