UPDATE; added the base, did'nt notice it was missing sorry. also another update is coming Boring info bit first.... Using this requires dismantling your very over priced dock so obviously if you aren't okay with doing this kind of thing maybe get a friend or 5 to assist with the surgery. All jokes aside if you have patience its easily done. Side note- keep all the screws safe, you'll need a few of them. This is the first thing I've modelled and shared so please go easy on me and also all critique is much appreciated. First things first i want to thank Benmarte for the original docky he created, that dock he started with was incredible, that dock is what got me into printing and fusion 360 just over a year ago, not only do i owe him the inspiration to create my dock variant but he also is a big part of what got me into parametric modelling. With all the praise comes the truth about why i started this, i wanted something as small as possible, to keep the console support but with minimal printing support and something that uses everything i already have, this dock only requires 6 of the screws that where used on the original dock, i doubled up the motherboard holes as fixing points for the entire dock, the other 2 screws are used to secure the usb-c. Dimensions width- 65mm height-18.75mm length- 97mm The print quality i got with this model was probably one of the best quality prints ive got from my cr-10. Although i did have some rough faces from where the support structure was, bonus points for anyone who uses the profile i uploaded and can help me figure out a fix. For now the led is mounted below the left joy con joystick, i'm toying with the idea of making this entire cylinder hollow and inserting translucent filament into the hole so the led brights up nicely. There's a few other things i will change when i get the time, mainly the dimensions of things, a few mm could be saved here and there. Once again I'm open to all comments and help, I'm only at the beginning of this learning curve and i respect how talent you guys are around here. I'll always appreciate the guidance. thanks for looking and if you printed this i hope you enjoy.
