Nippy - ergonomic stick end for hybrid pinching

thingiverse

As a hybrid pincher, I designed an ergonomic, asymmetric stick end that consistently yields a reliable and reproducible grip on my sticks. To achieve this, I created three versions of the same model, each with a distinct diameter of the hole at the bottom, catering to different thread sizes - M2, M3, or M4 - on the radio. The options include 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm holes for versatility. When printing in flexible filaments like TPU, it's advisable to reduce the hole diameter by 1mm to ensure a tighter grip when screwed on. Conversely, I recommend using rigid filaments such as PLA or PETG for optimal results. My personal preference was XT-CF20. Before assembly, insert a screw into the hole to create a thread of the required size. This step is crucial for a secure connection. To print successfully, use supports with 0.2mm layer height or less, and set two to three perimeters with 100% infill.
