Nissan Leaf: Monitor mount

Do you have a Nissan Leaf and wish you had the around view monitor like the Tekna does? Well you’re in luck, as I have developed precisely fitting mounts to fit a standard car reversing camera to the mirrors on either side of the Leaf and the front, giving you a great view of the curb and other obstacles, see the photos! This thing is the mount for the monitor, to allow all this to be viewable by the driver.All this without permanently modifying the car at all, so great for if you’re leasing the Leaf. If you don't have a 3D printer but would like one, please leave a comment :) Print Settings Printer: Hobbyking Fabrikator Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: Print the mount side on to give strength in the clamp. Instructions 1) The monitor in question is listed below. I don't sell it, but this is the one I used, although it should be a fairly universal mount for these ebay monitors. Mine was about £20 for reference. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371230987620 2) Download the .STL file. I printed on the Hobbyking Fabrikator on 0.2mm layer with 20% infill using Craftware 1.13 beta with black 1.75mm PLA filament , and it printed well. I suggest printing side on, as this provides the best strength for the part (due to layer direction). 3) The Monitor simply slides into the slot on the back, it's fairly self explanatory, and should be a firm friction fit. The whole mount will clip firmly into place in the centre of the dash over the hazard warning light button. Be aware that this must be removed to access the hazard warning light button, but is very easy to do.
