The Nissan Silvia is a sports car produced by the Japanese manufacturer Nissan, first between 1964 and 1968 and then between 1974 and 2002. It has a front engine, rear-wheel drive and existed with coupe, hatchback and convertible bodies. Silvia is widely used in drifting, and was used in the Japanese Grand Tourism Championship and the World Rally Championship. Although recent models have shared this chassis with other vehicles produced by Nissan (especially the European and North American 200SX 240SX in the S13 and S14 generations and 180SX in the Japanese market). The Silvia S15, sold between 1999 and 2002, had a higher proportion of light alloy components. For the first time, a manual of six was added to the five-speed manual and four-speed manual gearboxes.
