*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*UPDATE (3)*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Ok, so I printed the last .STL files I posted with a scaled down percent of 1-2% and it fit almost perfectly for me. so whichever file you may want to print MAKE sure you scale it down by at least 1-2% to have a good fit. I uploaded pictures as well. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*UPDATE (3)*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*UPDATE (2)*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Just added some .STL files. currently printing one to test out the size dimensions and see if it fit correctly. it was scaled up from the original version about 3 to 4% *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*UPDATE (2)*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*UPDATE(1)*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- I added two more .STL files, they have not been tested or printed yet but some dimensions have changed to make it a tighter fit. also changed it to where there is no cutout for the USB as I understand a lot of you don't have one. Also, there is one with the GT logo which looks pretty cool. Like always you can test print and adjust the scale in case it is still too loose or too tight. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*UPDATE (1)*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- This print was made as a favor for a friend who needed a cup holder in his R32. ---****This is nowhere near a professional molded part like the ones you can buy online which are specifically measured to fit that area.****--- I tried my best to measure what I could while I had the car and eyeball the rest. He also had a USB so that's the reason for the cutout in the back. It also sits in place a bit looser than I wanted it to but since this is just a prototype, I will be modifying it down the line when I get a chance. I will also try to make different versions to accommodate those setups that don't have a USB. Also trying to make the cupholder as wide as possible with the space limitation. This part was done on Solidworks 2013 and I will include the part file so you guys can modify it yourself if you would like (.SLDPRT file). As I am not a professional designer but rather a student, the way I modeled the part may not be the best but it worked for now. Like I said it was only meant to be as a favor. Just figured others can benefit from it if they wanted to. By the way, if it's too lose you can scale it up a bit on your slicer and try printing it again.
