NMSVE TRS MIDI Case

NMSVE TRS MIDI Case

thingiverse

This is a modification of the NMSVE case to make space for a TRS MIDI connector. The case has been heightened by 5mm and a section hollowed out to make room for the connector and required resistors. In this case the TRS jack is wired for TRS-A connections. Ground goes to ground on the NMSVE, the sleeve is wired through a 33 Ohm resistor to the 3.3V pin and the tip is wired through a 10 Ohm resistor to the TX pin. The astute observer will notice that my resistors are actually 27/12 Ohm, you use what you have on hand eh? It still works fine. FYI - the ESP32 puts out debug data when the device is started up so it is wise to wait to plug the cable in until a few seconds later. More details are on my git writeup here: https://github.com/hunked/NMCode
