No Issues Tissues - Tissue Box

No Issues Tissues - Tissue Box

I was sick of when grabbing and pulling a tissue the box comes off the desk and is annoying so I had been wanting a slip over case for the tissues for some time. However I never got around to making one out of Aluminium checker plate as planned. So I decided to print on instead. I have made this to suit the tissues that I buy here in Australia called "No Issues" tissues. It gives the box a bit of extra weight to stop them coming off the desk when you are trying to reach for one easily. I currently have a 0.5mm nozzle on my printer so I set the walls to suit this, however I will add extra designs shortly optimised for a 0.4mm nozzle too. I played with the top and bottom thickness within the slicer and with the coloured translucent filament I used to print with, the infill on the top of the box looks amazing. I used: HobbyKing translucent PLA (Green) 0.5mm nozzle 0.5mm wall thickness (1 Shell) (The walls of the object are 1.0mm) 0.3mm first layer height, solid fill. 0.35mm layer height. Top and bottom thickness 0.3mm Infill and pattern: you chose as you can see it so it gives it a nice aesthetic. No supports. necessary, just be sure to rotate the part so that the side with the elliptical hole is flat against the build surface.
