No Wire Hangers

Ever. Instructions I swapped the filament from black to white PLA when the background was finished and the raised shape of the hanger started printing, and from white to red when the hanger was finished. Though I did it by eye, if you have the ability to set Z-pause you could do so at 3mm and 6mm at the file's default size. Variants with different mounting/hanging holes are available if you're into that action, as is a file with just the wire hanger in case you're feeling disobedient.
