This nodal point adapter was made for a monopod to create 360° x 180° spherical panoramas. I use a EOS 5D Mark IV and the Walimex 12mm Fisheye lens. Using a 15mm circular level with one of the clips on the monopod you ensure that you minimize the paralax error. The entrance pupil should remain at one spot while rotating the camera. Figuring out all the angles to achieve that was a little bit tricky. You need a 1/4" screw to fix the camera, a M10 screw to secure the mount to a standard spigot and of cause a monopod with that spigot on top. I use a large Manfrotto monopod or a Rollei carbon travel-tripod that can be turned into a monopod. With this setup you should take 6 images while rotating 60° each time plus one picture from the ground. Ptgui is my favorite program for stitching panoramas.
