Noir Queen 2019 - Maz's Flower Ring Boxes This is a collection of the flower ring boxes I designed back in 2019. I 3D printed a few of the versions but only took photos of the v3 ring box. I think I shared some of these on my Instagram page at one point. The Noir Queen version is the last one that I made. My main gripe about this version is how I left the faces from the other petals sticking through the outside of the flower. All in all though I still think these are really pretty flowers and think other people might like them too. They are intended to be printed without supports. I have never used supports on any of my flowers. Some versions are made to work with the leaf stands but can also be used with the spiral stand. The spiral stand is intended to have a tea light sitting at the bottom to help make the flower glow a little in a dark place. The ring inserts I had sewn myself by hand. You could probably purchase black jewelry foam to cut and place inside. My initial art idea for this design was that it was the Noir Queen's poisoned flower with death inside to welcome the receiver. I realize now that is a very dark perspective and think it could be used for good instead. There's enough death already. Anyways, over sharing!
