A battery holder for Nokia and clone BL-5C batteries for use in hobby electronics experiments. You will need to add two pieces of bent wire to form spring contacts. Print Settings Printer: Ormerod Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.5mm nozzle, 0.2mm layers Infill: 20% Notes: These settings are non-critical. There's no awkward geometry. Post-Printing Clean up the print if needed, rmoving any extraneous material from the battery area. Cut two pieces of stiff wire (eg. 1.5 mm csa copper) to approximately 60mm long. Form a loop in the middle of each and insert between the two walls at the terminal end. Open the loops out and use side cutters to trim the ends that touch the battery to roughly 2.5mm. See photo for detail. Some batteries are supplied with kapton tape over the contacts; remember to remove this before use.
