####Spiky Stellated Rhombic Dodecahedron Half, Cube Dissection, Rectangular Prism The design is a backward derivative of the Yoshimoto cube. It **does not flex**. It can be used as a first step toward the whole Yoshimoto cube. Mathematically, four copies will make a cube. Two spiky ones will make a stellated dodecahedron with 12 rhombic spikes. Two hollow ones will make a hollow cube that can hold a stellated dodecahedron. The rest is left to your imagination. Interesting questions about posed about the structure of these solids. For example, what is the ratio of the two diagonals on the base of a rhombic spike (square root of 2). Each unit cube is 25 mm^3. Two versions are provided: Solid and Shelled. Please **note** that, in spite of the built-in tolerance, when the two pieces are snapped together, it can be hard to separate them. I have made a hole to make it easier. In case they are really hard to separate, please consider the use of some warm water. Please try TPU flexible filament if you have it. Have fun! ####Reference Author. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2835244
