Noodle Sword!

Noodle Sword!

This is an improved pool noodle sword handle that's easy to print and safe. It's designed to be printed in TPU - the central core is there to stiffen the blade by adding walls to the print. I've used the commercial, blow-molded noodle sword grips; they're too weak for my toddler, and honestly an affront to anyone who's held a fencing foil. These grips will secure your pool noodle through many fights, and the noodle will die long before the handle. The grip uses a double helix noodle mount, because I'm awesome like that. Designed in OpenSCAD because it's open source! For pool noodles, I specifically purchased these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N369MP7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The grip should work with any noodle that has a 3/4" hole - any standard size noodle. The sword uses half of a noodle; cut it in half with a bread knife or hacksaw. I like to angle the cut for extra cool points.
