NooElec Ham It Up v1.3 Upconverter Case for SDR

Made with FreeCAD This is a simple case consisting of 2 parts for your Ham It Up v1.3 Upconverter SDR by NooElec. It has enough air, tolerance and tiniest ventilation holes in case you run it 24/7 and in the desert. :D It just fits without any screws or tools. Had to make this case as NooElec changed the PCB layout again (this is for version 1.3) the connectors etc. changed as well and couldn't find a 1.3 case on thingiverse. The lid / top / cover should only be placed in one specific position: see the 2nd photo how the first "row" of four holes "starts" at the LEDs of the upconverter. You should figure it out easily when not put together yet, if you try just laying the top cover on top of the PCB and see how the standoffs of the lid 'sit' perfectly on the PCB - only one way. Actually most recommend wrapping it in aluminium foil and touching ground on USB to decrease noise. Some suggest using a LNA (low noise amplifier) with ham radios to improve performance. For examplehttp://lna4all.blogspot.co.at/2013/04/lna-for-all-low-noise-amplifier-for.html Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 for bottom, used 0.14 for top Infill: 15%
