Every decision made within this diorama is rooted in myth. The “R” rune, seeable from only 2 angles, is meant to be the bifrost. The rune is called “Raido” which means travel. A Branch of the tree, a baron Yggdrasil, holds up part of the rune-bifrost, as the tree links the nine realms and the bifrost is a means to travel to Midgard. The rocky plinth are based off of icelandic hexagonal rocks which are found in iceland among other places such as Ireland and Scotland: Each location has their own myth about the rocks and this adds a futher mythological element to the plinth. This is a work in progress. Extra plinth in background was a backup incase something went wrong.
