Not Another Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
This minimalist Fidget Spinner employs standard 608zz bearings, measuring 7x22x8mm in size. To install them, tap each one into place with a small mallet. Begin by securing the center bearing first, then use it as a guide to tap the outer bearings into position around it. Although the overall dimensions are identical to those of other spinners, the perpendicular orientation of the bearings shifts their axis outward, potentially extending spin time. I've yet to test this with ceramic bearings. Cheap 608zz bearings will typically yield a spinning duration of approximately 30 seconds when used in a three-arm configuration. The spinner can also rotate on a single outer bearing if desired. This particular design comes in three versions: the standard three-arm model offers superior spin time, while I have yet to attempt printing the five-arm variant.
