Not Lazy Susan shaft adapter

I designed this shaft adapter for the Not Lazy Susan project in my book, Making Things Move (www.makingthingsmove.com). It's designed to fit an old Solarbotics GM9 motor and wheel and allows you to increase the distance between the motor and wheel. Instructions The newer GM9 motor have slightly different dimensions. Check the model against the motor you have/buy to confirm. I found that if I made the part that slides into the wheel .005" smaller in diameter, and the hole the motor shaft slides into .005" larger, I got a nice slip fit.
