Novation Dicer platform to attach to the side of a drum. What is a Novation Dicer? Cue-point, looping and FX control for Digital DJs This palm-sized cue point and looping controller has been designed to fit exactly where you need it: on your turntables, CDJs, mixer or laptop The Dicer platform is designed to be adjustable to fit different drum sizes. Adjustability provided by M6 screw rods at varying lengths. M6 Bolt for lower bracket. M4 Bolts for upper Bracket. Review by R.C. Finally got to test fit everything today on my snares and everything fits wonderfully (some pics attached). The vertical and horizontal adjustability comes in handy since each drum has slightly different needs and dimensions. In all cases the mechanical stability is top notch. Unless I push really hard on the furthest point, it’s absolutely rock solid. In testing the “small top” + a bottom makes for the most versatile setup, working on all of my snares, and giving plenty of room for getting deeper snares (though not an 8” one, without the longer bolts). In playing around with some different binding mechanisms (rubber bands, shoestrings, hair ties), it seems like hair ties work the best, again in an all-around context. They are sturdy (not tearing so easily on the bolts), cheap, and fast to setup. The shoestring works and looks good, but takes a bit of faffing to get it on there tight.
