A 1/4" (.635 cm) dowel or tube fits the opening of the dowel foot and tubes. This unit sways without falling over. The foot can sway a little without causing a dowel of less than 36" (91.44 cm) to fall. Combine this part with Dowel Cap Corner and Dowel Tubes to make a shelving unit. The shelving unit can be disassembled easily as no nails, screws, bolts, or glue are needed.
