This easy to print, sturdy album holder showcases the album currently playing and provides safe storage for the cover. It can also hold CD cases. The front arch design suggests a retro juke box. This arch shape is also used in the base and album brace giving the stand a professional look. The colored backing can either be 3D printed or cut from stiff paper. Simple, retro, and classy, this "Now Playing" album holder is just what every audio aficionado needs. Instructions The sample shown is printed in ABS using these settings: .20 layers .35 first layer 30% fill No supports 3mm brim around base file. Once the print is tall enough, place quarters or washers on the brim to further prevent shrinkage. Finishing Use cement or glue dots to attach the backing to the main face. Trim the built-in support ends on the main face using a razor knife. and smooth with a file. The main face and album support can then be press fitted in place or cemented for added strength.
