This knob holds a 7mm socket for removing and installing printer nozzles.

UPDATED to version 2, added four files, original version is still available. Please let me know if they don't print correctly.

-There should now be a large chamfer on the bottom of the knob to allow easier alignment of the nozzle cleaning pin.

-Available for 2 different socket diameters.

Normal version accepts a socket with 11.5 mm nominal diameter

Large accepts a socket with a 13.5 mm nominal diameter

-Short versions for both 11.5mm and 13.5mm are available. These knobs are 3mm shorter allowing the nozzle pin to be inserted further into the nozzle for cleaning

I really liked the idea of the original tool but I found the outer diameter too small for me to use and the inner diameter too large for the socket I had. Using OpenSCAD, I redesigned the tool, making it larger and added knurling (from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:32122). Outer diameter is 29mm with a 1mm hole for the nozzle clearing needle. A Craftsman brand 7mm socket fits nice and snug.

Print with PET or ABS. I used 0.2mm with 30% infill.

Permissions left the same as the original tool.
