Nozzle Holder 2020 Extrusion

Nozzle Holder 2020 Extrusion

Simple, elegant, 6mm nozzle holder. It secures into 2020 extrusion slots using 4mm-0.7x10mm button head bolts and M4 T-Nuts which can be purchased or printed. I chose to print T-Nuts using pre-existing thingiverse uploads and they work great when threaded with the appropriate tap, just search "drop in M4 T-nut". I have included 2 files for direct printing (.STL) and the associated Fusion 360 files for editing (.FD3) Version 1: Utilizes 5mm nozzle holes designed to be hand tapped using an M6-1.0 tap, makes it very easy to hand thread in nozzles and produces exceptionally clean threads with a nice tight fit if done slowly. Version 2: Utilizes pre-threaded M6-1.0 holes for direct threading after printing if you don't have an M6-1.0 hand tap. You will need to drive the bolts in to start the threads and it isn't as smooth as Version 1 but it does work just fine. You will notice the nozzles protrude from the bottom of the holder, this is by design, allowing the threaded portion of the nozzle to recess into the 2020 extrusion and keeping the over profile low and clean. Check the print setting notes, you want to print thicker walls to allow for tapping. I've included all of the settings I used in Cura on my Ender-5 S1 in the printing notes.
