This Montini brick is joined with an Aztec dragon head from Mexico City.

Just like the vintage original Montini parts, this is compatible with classic Lego full height bricks.

Montini building bricks were produced from 1961 to 1969 in the Netherlands. They were originally made from soft, pliable polypropylene. The diagonal fins bend slightly around the pips of the other block.

puppenhausmuseum.de/montini-bausteine.html

Please do not mix these with original Montini parts. PLA is much harder than the original bricks, and the layer ridges act like sand paper. You will wear out the original Montini bricks very quickly.

I would love to see your make!

Original art scan:

www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-dragon-pillar-foot-85006

Print instructions

These are optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle. They are friction fit parts, so tolerances are important.

I set the Horizontal Shells Top to 7, and Bottom to 10 to allow for the relief to have infill, but the brick to be solid.

Only the mouth of the dragon needs supports. The brick itself does not.

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Resolution: .1

Infill: 25%
