Nuka Cola Lamp

This is a nightlight based on the Fallout 3 Nuka Cola Lamp. The cola bottle is a remix of ShaAli, Coke Bottle http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26234. I made it larger, filled in the base, and added a few holes for wires and mounting. I designed it to run off a 5v USB cable, as well as added mounts for uses with devlab 2 AAA Battery Holder http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35515. I've added options for either three 3mm LEDs, or one 5mm. The design also leaves room for customization of the LED mounts. https://tinkercad.com/things/dMad5jc671c I used an oversized switch because I liked the look, and I had it on hand at the time. I added a diffuser, because I wanted it more as a nightlight then reading lamp. All parts fit snug together. I used 4 #4 screws on the base to hold the bottle in place. The label was created by Whatpayne http://whatpayne.deviantart.com/art/Nuka-Cola-old-school-batch-pt1-118806693 I reduced the size by 50%. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online: #Fallouthttps://tinkercad.com/things/7n0HN4Ts5SChttps://tinkercad.com/things/dMad5jc671c - Plugs Instructions I've added many reference photos to help with the construction. The lamp shade can be printed either as one color or two if you have a dual printer. I printed the shade with 0% infill, 4 layers, and .30 height. And it seems to work rather well. The LEDs will snap fit into the mount, but you might have to clean them a little. I printed them several times in development, and sometimes I had to clean out the holes, and sometimes I did not. The Lamp Plug has two parts. The larger LED mount and the smaller plug. If you don't plan on adding LEDs, skip the larger one. The small plug connects the shade, and mount to the body. I had no issue keeping the two connected without the mount. Even dropped it once, and it stayed together. I used rubber cement to glue the label on; this helped me with positioning, but did need to be cleaned up after. I'm thinking of modding this one to be a true nightlight, I'll just have to wait and see.
