Nut Capture Gauge

2019-06-27 Added an imperial version, eliminated duplicate legends for clarity. Have fun!. Rev 0: I tired of reaching for the micrometer to size the same nut again and again with every new project. This gauge has four hexagons for each nut type (-0.05, nominal, +0.5, and +0.10mm) arranged in columns. Each row is for either a locking or hex nut for M3, M4, and M5. On the right side are holes with the M3, M4 and M5 screws nominal dimension at 12 o'clock with undersized and oversized holes counter clockwise and clockwise respectively. The bottom side has .5mm chamfers to remove any elephant foot first layer distortion. The nuts in the final product photo illustrate which dimension resulted in a very tight fit requiring a screw from the backside to draw the nut into the hexagon. Fusion file is included for your personalization pleasure.
