Nuts and Bolts Organizer

The purpose of the Nuts and Bolts Organizer is to finally have a solution for the organization of nuts and bolt when undergoing any sort of repair or assembly of an object. I realized how inconvenient it was to leave your station to get more of a particular nut or bolt when using a screwdriver and wrench, so what my invention does is that it allows for storage of up to four different types and sizes of nuts and bolts in a compact container so that you can take it with you anywhere. This is accomplished by having holes around the container which correspond to its own section. When the cap is placed, it will only open one section at a time due to it only having one opening. This allows you to pick which section you’d want to pour out making it very effective in organizing the small pieces. A great application of this product would be aboard any space shuttle. In an environment when repairs are consistently being done on machinery and the shuttle itself, this will lessen the burden on astronauts in regards to ease of access on whatever type of screw or nut needed on the repair site. Not only that but, with the recent advances on additive manufacturing in space, this tool a milestone for what’s to come.
