5/5: Uploaded mkII This new revision offers two substantial improvements over the first: 1. Now uses heat set inserts instead of an embedded nut. 2. Reduced length on the y-axis, allowing less reduction in the Y. This new part does **not** have the circular columns on top, instead preferring a completely flat top to ensure strength. Can be printed standing up entirely without supports. Original Part ----------------- This is my take on a Y-axis linear rail conversion for the Creality CR-10 V2 and V3. It allows for mounting the bed plate to two parallel MGN12H linear rails with two blocks per rail. Unlike many designs, this does not require any additional extrusions to be installed, nor does it require the linear rails to be mounted without support. Top mounting holes allow you to use the exact same screw holes on the stock bed. Just add the requisite **M3 bolts and nuts as well as 450mm MGN12H Rails with two blocks each** and you're good to go. You'll likely need washers for the bed plate -- it's something I intend to refine soon. This is a work-in-progress, but I have it installed on my V3 and it was an instant and huge upgrade. I intend to continue refining the part, but so far, so good! Here's video of it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VS7prBuylw
