NXT Motor Base Bottom to Tetrix Channel connector

NXT Motor Base Bottom to Tetrix Channel connector

Securely connects an NXT motor to a Tetrix channel. Best to print both sides and sandwich the motor between the two printed parts. Two options: the one shown in the pictures uses long screws (1.75" is ideal, but the pictures show 2" screws sticking out 0.25 inches) and one technic pin on each side. The screws tightly secure the NXT motor to the channel. The one not shown uses no long screws but 3 technic pins on each side instead. This is still pretty secure as the normal Tetrix screws still secure the printed parts to the Tetrix channel, keeping the pins and the motor in place. Prints flat with no support or special requirements. The other purple part to connect the NXT Motor Drive (the orange part of the NXT motor) to the Tetrix output channel is here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:466914 Instructions Printed on printrbot simple with 0.25 layers. May want to print with no infill for a stronger part. Nothing special needed. Make sure to print the normal version and the mirror version to get both sides!
