Use with extreme care, for experienced technicians only ** This is a tool for 5/16 nylon fuel line that will allow you to press a barbed union (possibly will work with other fittings, I only have tested with the union) onto the line. It is similar to other tools you can Google "nylon fuel line repair tool" to get an idea. Some people say to use heat, like a hair dryer or heat gun, or even put the fitting and line into boiling water. It is possible but it is extremely difficult and or dangerous to do when the line is on the car. For this tool you must have a Caulk gun and 2 6mm(1/4in with a little reaming) bolts and nuts (mine are about 2.3 in long). 1. add a small amount of lubricant to the fitting and line. 2. clamp the 5/16 nylon line into the clamp 3. push fitting in a little by hand 4. slide piston piece over fitting 5. put the assembly into the caulk gun 6. hold union straight as you pump I printed with cubic infill 30%. I did 8 test fittings with new nylon line, and 4 fittings on the car using nylon line from 1987 W. Germany (old and hard) all were successful after I figured out how to use it good... I over tightened the clamp once and it cracked but it still worked long enough to do the 4 on the car I needed. Next time I would probably use higher infill... maybe up to 80. If you need to work on nylon fuel line every day you should buy a professional tool.... if you do it once every 10 years, this tool will work.
