Like my Darth Vader remix, this uses the original blade files by 3DPRINTINGWORLD. His design has really been fun to play with and remix and I owe him a big thank you. Please buy stuff through his Amazon links. This saber was originally designed so I could print the black parts in Black PLA separately an not have to paint them by hand.This worked great for the end cap and the (what I call) heat coil. I did make the grip separate, but it was so difficult to print that I re-attached it to the hilt. I then printed the entire hilt in Black, taped up the grip, and then spray painted it silver. I have not found a silver PLA that is silver enough. I also printed the red button in red PLA. I did not have a gold for the little gold nubbin, so I just painted that. Enjoy!
