This is a derivative of many different ideas and parts. I am a contributor too keep the ideas rolling. This is too large to thank all the contributors but all the links will reveal the editors https://www.instructables.com/id/Building-a-moving-and-tracking-Portal-Turret/ https://www.instructables.com/id/Portal-2-Turret-Gun/ I used the electronics from MIA Portal Robot project from instructables links above. I then began to retrofit those electronics and servo’s into the Oblivion Defender Drone. I re-mixed the servo actuator from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3170748 by Potentprintables and created an arm that will open and close in a unison reactive manner. I then miniaturized it to fit the Oblivion model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:83193 by BradonW6. In retrospect I could have picked anyone’s Oblivion Defender Drone but at the time Brandon seemed to have solid water tight files over others who were remixing faster than updating there models. I also used my entire printer desktop and enlarged the drone model to a scale of 1.3% because the actuator arms can only be miniaturized so much. I was going to add all my files but I am only including remixed files. You will need to source the original files from the links provided above. This is a work in progress and I will upload more pictures as I complete my build. This process should allow you to automate most models since the sound files can be edited. You can use two servos and a few lights. It would be great if someone could add deep sleep and more lights to the Arduino nano too open up more modeling capabilities such as using a 9volt battery. The Servo gear is hollowed out so that the original servo boot cap can be glued into it, since I cannot print such small servo gears.
