This ocean has been made with Blender 2.74 Cycles. The model is inspired from the real world and I think it has been successful because it looks like a real ocean. Materials and animation it's available just in Blender. -------------Meshes--------------- Which is subdivided multiples times, you can increase or decrease the subdivision number how many times do you want. ocean plane -------------Materials--------------- Description: Fully compatible with any version of Blender which uses Cycles All of these are procedural materials and textures which allows you to resize it at what scale you prefer without losing any quality Materials: 1 ocean material -------------Polygons--------------- To increase the number of polygons to be like in that movie you should to put the resolution from settings at 45, in this moment there it's a resolution of 30. 45 -> 4milion of polygons 40 -> 2.5milions of polygons 30 -> 811.801 polygons For a high-quality ocean it's recommended to a resolution between 40-45 _!!
