Octent Dome

Octent refers to the partitioning of a plane of an octahedron into a curving surface. In this model, the indicated surface is defined by XYZ = constant, a three branched hyperboloid. Four of these surfaces are inverted and joined to form a dome. This dome actually has two concentric shells. The grid system for layout of this type is Cartesian coordinates with 1/phi series intervals.
