Models of the octet-truss lattice structure. This structure exhibits excellent mechanical properties scaling relative to density. This means ultralight structures can be designed with high load capacity using this as an infill. The mechanical properties scale linearly with density over multiple orders of magnitude, and the symmetrical structure results in highly isentropic material properties. The unit cubic cell and a 3x3x3 matrix are shown, but cuboid lattice matrices of any dimensions can be made with the openSCAD file.
