The Octocat keeps a watchful eye on your GitHub source code check-ins. Inspired by Thingiverse's octopus model popularity and GitHub's appeal to programmers, I crafted a spooky version of GitHub's mascot. This design is a unique blend of Bucket o' Octopi (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7900) and The Cat (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1283). Version 2 of the model has rectified the flat areas that plagued version 1. In version 1, there were flat areas on the cat's head due to a blunder in Blender skills, unnoticed until late in the process. It is not apparent at MakerBot resolutions but may cause issues with professional printers. The cat's chin has a minor overhang problem for MakerBot printing, though it still looks good after trimming excess material.
