Oculus Flight Stick Swivel Mount

This is a swivel base for the game WarPlanes: WWI Fighters. I got a two-foot section of 1.25'' PVC pipe and used a heat gun to soften the plastic and then inserted the Oculus controller to mold the PVC pipe to hold the controller. I then inserted the swivel into the other end of the pipe and place it on the base. I put a little athletic tape around the swivel to create a nice seal inside the PVC pipe. Once assembled, it gives a very natural feel to the control stick in the cockpit. It's wonderful. I would suggest orienting the gap in the swivel toward the front as you are pulling back more often than you are pushing over. I haven't had any trouble with the base sliding on the carpet but I suppose you could hold it with your feet or tape it down. I have noticed that reorientating to the position of the headset each time makes a more permanent setup impossible, but it's never moved on me.
