It's designed to take standard single vision lenses for Zenni #550021 frame. It's been tested with 1.57 mid index lens. Antireflective coating highly recommended to help with glare. We want the community to freely print the protectors for personal use, however but you cannot sell 3d prints of these files. ### IPD ### When you order your lenses: 1) Go and Rift S users: use your measured IPD. 2) Quest users: use IPD 65mm to align with the optical centers of the headset lenses. You can then use the physical IPD adjustment on the headset to change the IPD. ### Order Pre-Printed ### You can now buy pre-printed adaptors from our Etsy store https://www.etsy.com/listing/723470150/oculus-prescription-lens-adapter ### Printing ### The model is designed to be printed without support material, and I was able to print without raft or brim. The model should be facing down on the print bed to minimize overhang. Tested with PLA, though other materials should also work fine. ### Test fit the adaptor on your headset ### The lenses on your headset have rings that can be removed (see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YR742r-aZ0). Align an adaptor to the matching side of the headset, and snap it in place. It might take some fiddling to align the snap points (tip: use the original lens ring as reference), but it should go on without too much force. ### Using the adaptor ### Mark the position of the nose bridge lightly on Zenni lenses so you can match it with the alignment notch on the adaptor. With the adaptor detached from the headset, align the Zenni lens and push it inside the adaptor. It should snap into place. The lenses should curve into the adaptor (so when you wear the headset, the lenses curve in the normal direction). For models without alignment notches (before 2019-06-16), you should mark horizontal orientation lightly on the Zenni lenses so you can match it with the horizontal orientation of the adaptor. Finally, make sure you clean all the lenses before final assembly. ### Release Notes ### 2019-10-02 - Made the snap points for the Zenni lenses a little tighter. 2019-09-25 - Made the Quest / Go adaptors very slightly thinner - Made Rift S adaptors 2mm thinner since getting feedback that the extra 3mm is too big. 2019-07-31 - Made the snap points larger for tighter fit. 2019-06-16 - Added small notches to match the position of Zenni frame's nose bridge. This should help with lens alignment. - Adding option for Rift S which has 3mm extra thickness. 2019-06-15 - The adaptor is now 2mm thicker by default to allow extra space for thicker lenses.
