**Please note this is a work in progress as I get feedback from you guys and from my own prints! Change log can be viewed below. [updated 2021-01-27]** Here's my audio solution to improving the sound quality on an Oculus Quest 2! It allows movement of the headphone drivers up/down and rotationally (to reach varying ear locations) and rotationally outwards (locks in outer position for putting headset on/off). It's the same degrees of freedom as the original Rift CV1. First off, it requires that you buy some $14-ish Koss KSC75 headphones, which I'll link to below (Koss Porta Pro headphones are also compatible). They're pretty great sounding and are a great addition to the already awesome Quest 2. Assembly is fairly simple. Refer to the photo below for assembly order (A to E). Written instructions are as follows: - Push main pin (B) through the strap clip (A) until it snaps into place - Insert spring pin (D) into the main pin (B) and rotate it a handful of times with some pliers to loosen the fit, then remove spring pin - Align sliding hinge (C) holes with main pin (B) hole, then press spring pin (D) through both pieces - Insert sliding hinge (C) into arm (E) and slide upwards. Slide up and down several times to break in grooves. You can also print the optional Driver Cover (OQ2_DriverCover_02.stl) if you don't want the matte silver color of the stock KSC75's blemishing your beautiful Quest 2's aesthetic. I printed mine with support and ripped the supports in post. It doesn't matter if your printer doesn't do well with supports since the pretty top surface is all that will show in the end. Please note that you'll need to remove the grey wire cover (shown in 13th photo) for the new driver cover to fit. The last optional step you can take is to cut your Koss cables and re-solder them at the proper lengths for your headset. I found that about 10" (left) and 20" (right) of cable from the audio jack worked for me (see 14th photo).
