Note -- This item can be purchased can be purchased from my Etsy shop while supplies last: https://www.etsy.com/listing/737877891/oculus-rift-s-jbl-or300-headphones?ref=shop_home_active_1 These 3d printed adapters allow you to install JBL OR300 headphones (originally made for the CV1) to your Rift S. The brackets snap into place, and allow the headphones to fully articulate like on the original rift. You should print Left Side, Right Side, and 2 Caps. You will need to purchase an audio cable and M3 threaded inserts. The audio cable will need to be spliced into the mounting bracket grooves. Threaded inserts can be tricky, just don't press them in too deep. Soldering the audio cable is not mandatory but can help create a good contact surface on the audio cable. Do not solder directly to the headphones. The wire can be looped inside the velcro strap at the back of the headset to keep everything tidy. This wire will work: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GIKSN6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These threaded inserts will work: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IYWTCWW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Once installed, try not to slide the bracket as this can scratch your halo band. It's better to remove bracket and reinstall in desired position. The mod is fully reversible. Enjoy your new setup that looks great, sounds decent, and fit well.
