Both units are fascinating pieces of technology, but Odroid-U3 is more suitable for the following reasons: 1. The Odroid-U3 is cheaper than the Intel Nuc i3. It costs $65+ (from ODROID)compared to $300+ for the Intel NUC. 2. The operating system (OS) is free. It can run Linux or Android 3. The components (e.g. microSD, usb HD cameras, data sensors) are affordable. 4. You can 3D print your own case.Credit goes to @MIGUIF for creating an outstanding 3D-printable case for the Odroid-U3.
