Offset Airgun Suppressor

Offset Airgun Suppressor

There has been quite a few offset suppressors in the firearm industry for quite a while now. Surprisingly this hasn't reached the airgun industry. The added volume will increase noise reduction. My take on it has three simple types of components; the suppressor housing, the baffles and the barrel adapter. You can put felt into the suppressor housing to dampen the noise more. The barrel adapter is a slip on adapter that can easily be drilled and tapped for grub screws to hold it onto the barrel. I've made a baffle system as a few have suggested, this should make it more sturdy and make it a bit more quieter, it also stops the barrel adapter from moving too far into the housing. The housing and adapter can be drilled and tapped to keep it from coming out. I would recommend using ABS for this suppressor for robustness! I have included the Sketchup file as all Barrel diameters are not the same. ;) Update: I had to make the baffle holes rectangular because when repaired it covered it up, The baffle is in a separate piece as this would require supports which would be physically impossible to remove. The suppressor housing is best printed upright. I've made the suppressor housing thicker for increased rigidity. Remember to sand the sides that stick to the bed as they will stick out a little!
