Offset Marker

Offset Marker

thingiverse

This tool is used to draw a line with an offset to an object. It is made for an Artline 70 marker or any similar marker with a 15mm diameter. Use the rubber band as shown on the photo, only a very slight downward pressure is required otherwise the marker tip will be pushed inside the marker body. Alternatively, the two M3 screws can be tightened a bit more to block the marker in the tool. Files are included for 15, 20 & 25mm offsets. Needs 2 x M3x6mm (or longer) screws and a rubber band. On the photo, I am using it to draw the offset contour of the stabilizer of one of my radio controlled sailplanes. This aluminized foam film is normally used for thermal isolation. I use it to make protective covers for RC models.
